What would you like to untangle?

Posted on Feb 20th, 2008 by spirit in action : creative spirit spirit in action
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 20, 2008:

I would like to untangle the mystery of inconsiderateness...
Why some think that it’s ok to treat others the way they do...everyday rudeness.
(is that ego run amok?)

Why people are late to set appointments ( we’re all using the same clock right? why is yours always running 20 minutes later? different time zone? CALL!)... As a rule you have about 5 minutes and I leave, this usually ends lateness... my time is just as important as yours if not more :).

Why do people POP CALL and expect you to actually open the door? (this isn’t college anymore) I bet they’ll call next time.

Why people call to chit-chat when they have a break at their jobs, but don’t understand/respect that working at home does not involve hours of TV, eating bonbons and entertaining bored people all day (thank God for Called ID).

Why if you are riding with me in my car... your cell phone rings, and you ask me to turn off my radio so you can precede to talk to your friend for 15 minutes... When did I become invisible? (we reached an understanding :-)

Which bring to mind, those in restaurants, spiritual centers, the market, the bank, who can’t function without their phones on their face. Unless it’s an emergency... no one is that important... and the Beam-me-up-Scotty thing in your ear?... it’s not a fashion statement.
We do not want to hear your conversations!

Why last week my neighbor assumed it was OK to hire a Hack to butcher a tree on my patio without asking me (ever heard of communicating like adults?), destroy my patio umbrella and my urns... then expect me to pay... BTW, who is replacing my stuff? Needless to say, all is not well in Shangra La...and my neighbor is a coward hoping this will fade away. NOT!

Is inconsiderateness a byproduct of insecurity/inferiority, manifesting itself as a disconnect in humanity?... untangle this!

forgive my rant, just an observation I’ve had for a while :-) people are indeed interesting.

mean people stink, however they fill the all important job of helping us to recognize the beauty of their opposite :)

Individualist, dog eat dog, capitalist indoctrination behaviour. What a waste of good energy. And expressing kindness is so freeing, isn't it? Love them back! Shock their pants off. hahaha

LOL love it when you speak your truth. There is nothing more annoying and silly looking than those wireless blue tooths plastered on people's faces and over hearing their conversations.
Untangle that thing off your ear and get a normal cell phone like everybody else.  It's always fun observing people and making fun of them inside my head I like to amuse myself in that way. haha I'm so mean it's a Friday.  Have a beautiful day groovy one : )

This is hilarious and I often have the same pet peeves!

But it's good to look at it this way…These people are our teachers whether we believe to be or not. They teach us to be more compassionate. It isn't their fault really. They are ignorant and ego-driven, wrap up in their karma and materialistic patterns.

Not everyone can be as awesome and considerate as us!

Wow please get out of my head.  Courtesy has lost it's grip in the 2000's. That lost grip allowed rudeness and thoughtlessness to ooze by.  Buckle up everybody it's gonna be a bumpy ride. (Heaven help us)
