If you had the support of everyone around you, what would you do?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 04, 2007:
OK, I’ll bite...
I know where there is a nice plot of property is in Ojai, CA.... 43 acres, overlooking a beautiful lake....
I would create a world class retreat for restoration of the mind, body and soul.
On the lower 20 acres I would have 15 private/sustainable/green 2 bedroom houses for my guests. I would have Yurts tucked under the massive Oaks that offered: meditation, yoga, thai chi, hiking, gentle detox, massages (the total spa thing), creative workshops etc. Diet would be the freshest fruits and veggies possible...
People would be free to choose what they wanted to do, a place to disconnect...Artist, musicians, writers and creative types could come and work in this tranquil space and be free to create without distraction. Families could spend quality time with each other. City folks could decompress. A place to reconnect with your soul...
On the upper 23 acres, I would build a few more of the same homes for staff and vacation rentals and one of my own (10 acres)... Where my family and friends and I could decompress and create also :) oh yeah, and 2 choco-labs pookie and ray-ray.
When I saw this property earlier this year... I let my imagination run with it. So if this sounds like a plan... it is :) just need the seed money :) got any ideas?

There are many of us with a similar vision GG…we need to find the money and go for it! We all need a place like this…actually it is what Brian and team talk about in their WIE article about zaadz oases…..I think this is awesome…but can Chloe be there with pookie and ray-ray? She would love to be a healer too….

This is a wonderful vision. In reading your description I would really visualize what you have in mind and even see myself there. It would definitely be someplace I would want to come to and reccomend to my friends.
There is definitely a need for time place and space to disconnect, decompress and alow oneself to just BE.

I was envisioning the same thing yesterday!
Ofcourse I didn't come up with a location.
I think when you begin to have a vision
you just keep allowing it to BE and the universe
takes care of the rest. It is not for us to worry
about the “how” :)

I have a color picture of the property that I cut out of the Real Estate section of the paper on my intention board… and I have fun with it in my thoughts.

I add my vision to yours. I have “seen” my “yurt village” for retreat…I just don't know yet where it is!
I call First Dibs on a deep tissue massage. Ooh, and don't forget to have tranquil music playing in the background!

My two cents: Go back to that property, sit on the ground, and say outloud “I own this land for the better good”. Claim it. Just claim it.
And I would need to bring Iressa, my cat. She’s a Reiki cat, since I’m a Reiki practitioner. She loves Reiki. She loves good spirit and energy.
Claim it. Let the Universe/God/Creator know out load what your intention is. Post that photo in a prominent place and touch it as often as you can. Say “Hello. It’s me. We’re going to do something wonderful together”.
You’re going to have a ton of friends show up, that’s for sure.

Following up . . . Jackie is absolutely right. She thinks as I do, at least on THIS subject. Divine Spirit will give to you that which you need to fulfill its wishes. And, I'll bet that's what's going to happen!

Spirit in Action, I offer this: live up to your name. Network in the flesh and blood world, as well as online, among conscious and enlightened business people, investors, and philanthropists. And start NOW where you are. I know you are already a healer. Take it up another notch, and bring in some particular aspect of your vision. If you have an apartment, or work in a healing center or yoga studio, hold a meditation class, a visualization group, or collaborate on a meeting, mastermind, or event with someone else you would like to be involved in your retreat center. You get the idea. Take if from there. Keep us posted and ask for help regularly.
