What was the last strange coincidence you experienced?

Love_moon_2
Coincidence, serendipity, fluke, luck, fate, syncronicity, magic, destiny, parallel....
I guess it was this picture I took...

I like the word syncrodestiny (got it from Deepak)

He says
"When you live your life with an appreciation of coincidences and
their meanings, you connect with the underlying field of infinite possibilities.
This is when the magic begins.
This is a state I call synchrodestiny, in which it becomes
possible to achieve the spontaneous fulfillment of our every desire.
Synchrodestiny requires gaining access to a place deep within yourself,
while at the same time awakening to the intricate dance
of coincidences out in the physical world."

How do you respond to negative people?

Posted on Aug 4th, 2008 by spirit in action : Inspiration Goddess spirit in action
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 04, 2008:

1. I put on my imaginary Positivity Suit... it’s magic powers zap, deflect and dissipate all
negativity rays from being absorbed into my being.
2. Run like hell... or
3. Remain still and quiet, wait for them to finish their rant,  send positivity rays to them,
wish them well... and run like hell.

I’m too sensitive and too old to do negative toxic energy... I won’t participate...

How would your future self inspire you?

Posted on Jul 31st, 2008 by spirit in action : Inspiration Goddess spirit in action
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 31, 2008:

Through My Intentions..... Yesterday I was living in the moment ... today I am still in the moment... In these moments I set my intentions... if I act on these intentions, I get results... I am then, I guess, creating a better future with my creative thought proccesses in the moment... Sooooo, I must be inspired now to create intentions and then put them into action for a better later?
My future self is not here yet... but give me a few moments... and I'll get back to you...lol

What would you do if time didn't matter?

Posted on Jul 30th, 2008 by spirit in action : Inspiration Goddess spirit in action
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 30, 2008:

What I do now... live in the moment, each precious moment, with an open heart and as much grace, spontaneity, humor, love, positivity, and compassion as possible...

“One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.” ~unknown

“Kiss your life. Accept it, just as it is. Today. Now. So that those moments of happiness you're waiting for don't pass you by.” ~unknown

What constitutes true communication?

Posted on Jul 20th, 2008 by spirit in action : Inspiration Goddess spirit in action
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 20, 2008:

In order to really communicate effectively... you must be practiced in the sometimes underrated art of listening. Truly listening to the one who is speaking... and engaging ourselves to truly be present (eye contact is a real added bonus, if not on the phone).

We sometimes want to fast forward the conversation and cut in (Guilty! but working on it), butt in, one up, or rudely dismiss what others are saying as not important ( and the ever present, ill placed “me too!, but”)... which shows absolutely no respect for the other.

People communicate to express themselves, their ideas, passions, their experiences, their agendas, their love and their pain (I could go on... but :-). Some are looking for solutions and some just want to be heard. The gentle art of listening is often an unrealized but basic skill and shows grace. Being a good listener instills trust, that you are genuinely interested, and that you are mature enough to give of yourself to listen to others and truly hear them. There is nothing more quietly infuriating than to speak to someone and not be heard...
I’m sure this phenomenon has to do with ego. lol   ya think?

I had a dear friend visit from South Africa last week, we had a good reunion after 20 years... He wanted to get together after a meeting he had, but I told him I would be finishing a project for the next day... That I would be busy later, and that I would retire early as I had to hit it pretty early in the AM (after all I’m not on vacation yet). He called 3x’ after midnight... Now that might not be a big deal to some... but my first thought was...
Man, he didn’t hear a word I said...   we can still be friends though lololol.

What is the most important story in your life right now?

Posted on Jul 14th, 2008 by spirit in action : Inspiration Goddess spirit in action
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 14, 2008:

The book of my neverending stories is now 18,931 pages and counting...Right now I am working on the cultivation and transformation chapters...

The main and most important story right now in this moment, is learning and utilizing what I've learned to support my foundation through grants and fundraising for capitol green projects to help LA County parks become more sustainable. Proposing workshops and cultivating partnerships to educate the under served communities in the county on resources available for sustainable living, wellness for healthy living and tips and job training to ease their day-to-day living/survival with grace during these economically challenging times.

And doing my best to remain balanced as I take on these projects...

What would have to change for there to be no war?

Posted on Jul 13th, 2008 by spirit in action : Inspiration Goddess spirit in action
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 13, 2008:

It would take a major shift in the outdated thinking that has outgrown it’s usefulness... A mutual love/compassion/respect for all living things mindset, an understanding and tolerance mentality... a maturity level that makes it ok to agree to disagree without negative repercussions. Ideally, our elected leaders would have to reflect this same mature mentality to become our elected leaders.
Unfortunately, we’ve got a ways to go...

When I was much younger ( a kid at the time of the Vietnam war), I had a simple solution... I used to tell people that wars would end if the people that started them, were the first ones on the front lines... I still believe this... however simplistic...If our so called leaders had to show up to defend their flawed decisions, and it was ultimately their arses on the line, they would probably give these seemingly knee jerk decisions much more thought. Maybe, just maybe, the countries involved would then have to come up with a mature peaceful solution of mutual understanding to solve their dilemmas/beefs/pissing matches... I have always questioned what kinda EGO/balls it must take to send someone else's children off to war because some guys ego is writing checks his butt can’t cash.

CASH! now imagine if the big money war machine didn’t exist because we didn’t play war anymore.... how different this planet would be. A billion bucks a day could feed millions, heal a lot of sickness, educate all children, war technology would give way to the development of beneficial technologies for clean energy, water, air...and, and, and ...

Peace
